About Entertaiment
Something affording pleasure, diversion, or amusement: A visit to the circus was an entertainment for us all. A ball is an elaborate entertainment. Entertaiment is often abbreviated as entmt., and you may see it used on fliers or in industry news publications or short hand note taking where space is an issue. Entertainment is a very broad concept that has evolved to suit a range of purposes and audiences from the intimate (a private play or game) to the vast (performances for thousands).
