Automobiles are four-wheeled vehicles that are primarily used for transportation. Most definitions say that cars run on the road and seat one to eight people. Whether you drive one yourself or are fascinated by the history of cars, there are many interesting facts you can learn about the vehicles. Read on to find out more.
Benz
Benz Automobiles is a German luxury vehicle manufacturer. The company is headquartered in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg. They produce luxury cars and commercial trucks.
Jellinek
Emil Jellinek was an automobile enthusiast in the early forties. He travelled to Cannstatt, Germany, and ordered two cars. He was very particular about the performance of his vehicles, and insisted on electric ignition and the latest technology. He had many contacts with international finance and the aristocracy and began selling Daimler automobiles to higher echelons of society. By 1900, Jellinek had sold thirty-four cars, and had become a major distributor for Daimler’s vehicles.
Daimler
Daimler automobiles are a part of the Mercedes-Benz Group AG, a German multinational automotive corporation headquartered in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg. It is one of the world’s leading automobile manufacturers. Daimler-Benz was formed in 1926 through the merger of Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft and Benz & Cie.
Chassis
The chassis of an automobile is the main support for the weight of the vehicle and offers mounting points for other components. There are different kinds of chassis, each offering different advantages. In addition to its strength, a chassis’s design also determines the comfort level of the passenger inside the vehicle.
Oil tank
The market for oil tank in automobiles is driven by increasing production of automobiles and growing awareness regarding the safety of automobiles. In addition, the increasing level of urbanization and development of road infrastructure are expected to increase the demand for fuel tanks in automobiles.
Suspension system
There are a number of factors to consider when choosing a suspension system for a car. In order to ensure safe driving, the system should minimize deflection, be light in weight and low in cost. Furthermore, it should minimize tire wear. Different types of suspension systems are used to provide different levels of stability to a vehicle.
Human circulatory system
The cardiovascular system is a closed network with strong interactions between its components. Thus, focusing on local flow features and global circulation dynamics provides only a partial representation of the cardiovascular response. Fortunately, multiscale modelling has emerged in the last few years, and it has the potential to provide a more accurate representation of the cardiovascular system. This technique involves combining a 0D model with other models to develop a comprehensive representation of the cardiovascular system. One of the most important elements of this multiscale model is the use of a realistic 3D model to compute local haemodynamics, and a 0D system model for boundary conditions.
