Suspension system

There are a number of factors to consider when choosing a suspension system for a car. In order to ensure safe driving, the system should minimize deflection, be light in weight and low in cost. Human circulatory system

The cardiovascular system is a closed network with strong interactions between its components. Thus, focusing on local flow features and global circulation dynamics provides only a partial representation of the cardiovascular response. Fortunately, multiscale modelling has emerged in the last few years, and it has the potential to provide a more accurate representation of the cardiovascular system. This technique involves combining a 0D model with other models to develop a comprehensive representation of the cardiovascular system. One of the most important elements of this multiscale model is the use of a realistic 3D model to compute local haemodynamics, and a 0D system model for boundary conditions.
